Nusa Penida is a great island above the waves and for diving. There is a turtle protection programme going on - have a look on www.kurakura.org.
The view from the higher levels of the island are breathtaking. Gunung Agung seems to be very close. And the rocks in the south are very wild and very beautiful.
The dive sites are famous with sometimes strong currents. For video and photo lovers alike it is a real treat. This time I only took photos above the waves. But I will be back for diving. See you soon.
